The Plant Pool Recreation Association is the grateful recipient of a $2,500 grant from the Community Foundation of Ottawa for our Increased Access to Public Swims project. Ensuring every child in our neighbourhood has access to the Plant Pool is a foundational objective of our association, and the wonderful support we have received from the Community Foundation helps make this objective possible. During the last fiscal year, the PPRA was able to provide over 1,000 vouchers to kids who wanted to swim at Plant.

A HUGE Thank You to Everyone who came out to the Dessert Party last Saturday!

Thank You!

To everyone who attended and to everyone who helped out.

This year we had an army of volunteers from Glebe, Lisgar and Cambridge PS as well as help from our PPRA board members and PPRA members, Cambridge PS parents, parent council, teachers and many other kind community members. Thank you to Mary Young of the Cambridge PS parent council for finding such wonderful volunteers and for making the event happen again this year.
Once again Bridgehead donated the coffee and a wonderful gift basket for a door prize.  We thank them and without them we would have a hard time doing this wonderful yearly event.
The flowers that were presented to Diane Holmes as a thank you for years of community service to our neighborhood, the PPRA and the Plant Pool were arranged by Vanessa Madely of Sparrow Floral Design. Info@sparrowfloraldesign.caVanessa also donated floral arrangements for the centre pieces at our event.

Here are some Pics from the event
