Rink and Winter activities Committee

The mandate of the Rink and Winter Activities Committee is to operate and maintain the Rink in Plouffe Park.  To increase outdoor winter recreational opportunities and events for the community in Plouffe park.

The Rink and Winter Committee will:

Make and maintain the Rink

Monitor the Rink

Collect and maintain donation of winter sports equipment

Encourage community involvement and volunteers  in all of the above

Mentor and encourage new Canadians in our community  in winter activities and sports

Potentially organize outdoor winter festival or carnival

Recreation and Green space committee will:

advocate for protection, improvement and an increase of local parks, green and recreation space

Grow Plouffe Park

Dominican Gardens

 Play structures

 Other local parks and green spaces

Vietnamese Garden
