Lace up your walking shoes and head out to the Plant Recreation Centre this morning for the Ten Thousand Steps historic walking tour celebrating Canada’s 150th.

The walk is today! Official start is 9:30 am but you can start when you like. Walk wraps up around 11:30 am with snacks back

About us

The association aims to enhance community well-being in the west-centre area of Ottawa by providing financial support for children and youth from low-income households to participate in recreational programs at the Plant Recreation Centre and Plouffe Park. Additionally, we operate and supervise skating rinks at Plouffe Park, offer structured drop-in programming for youth aged 6-16 with educational and recreational activities, and contribute to community well-being by maintaining and preserving recreational spaces for general public use.
